Does anyone know how to remove the l/mph from the radio display? I know it can be done because the radio used always only display the radio station name but now it only displays the station when you change, then it defaults to fuel consumption.

The trip display button on the bottom right.

I've pressed that but it just changes the type of consumption, it does not remove it from the display

Is there a DISP button on them beside the screen?

Turn the radio off completely. Then turn it on again and tune to a station. I think that might have the effect of overriding the fuel consumption screen.

There is a disp button on the number 3 button. I seem to have tried every combination to change the display.

It's similar to mine but slightly different. One more thing to maybe try - turn the radio on and wait for it to flash back to the mpg display. Then press the am/fm button on the right hand side - on my car that changes the display without changing the radio band.
