So we had a bit of a debacle with Sky this week. Basically my housemate who owns the account had to cancel it because they wouldn't transfer it into mine. They told us we wouldn't be able to get anymore broadband into the house for 6 weeks from cancellation because it's something to do with the line. Is this true? Or is it…

So we had a bit of a debacle with Sky this week.

They told us we wouldn't be able to get anymore broadband into the house for 6 weeks from cancellation because it's something to do with the line.

Is this true? Or is it just a Sky thing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
