    Hi

I had the 2nd e/w at 12's in the 2:20 at Catterick yesterday. I collected my place returns. Subsequently it was found that the winning jockey had weighed in light and was DQ'd meaning the 2nd was promoted to 1st. If i explained this to the bookie would they pay out the difference on the win part? I suspect not as the bet has already been "settled" but was wondering if anyone has experienced this scenario before?
