I made some searches and I can't find Google Cardboard online from Irish retailers. I came across some comments which said it's available from Google's Dublin HQ and from the Trinity Science Gallery shop, but they weren't recent. Does anyone have more current information?

I would't bother tbh. I had it and it's very uncomfortable, difficult to use. Get a proper VR headset instead.

Google cardboard is like 20 quid, 30 tops for a fancy model. "proper" VR can be around 800. It might be uncomfortable but there's a trade off.

OP, try this place - https://www.unofficialcardboard.com/collections/all

I heard they were great/reviewed well. Haven't bought one myself yet though.

I didn't mean Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and similar. They are very expensive.

You can find much nicer VR headsets then cardboard for little more extra. Cardboard one's are waste of money imo. You will use it few times and that's it.

Ive bought this one after it was recommended on XDA, works perfect, optics are good and its very comfortable (i wear glasses and its still quite comfortable), has the magnet button as well so no need for a controller, I got mine at £12 but its gone up a bit

There's a gadget shop beside the food court in Stephen's Green Shopping Centre. They have a few of them. Think they're €20-30 but I'm not sure. They have a strap so you don't have to hold them like you do with the Google one.
