New windscreen: auto wiper

    2006 Ford Mondeo ST TDCI.

Got a replacement windscreen yesterday. Test drive today and I have noticed the auto wipers are not functioning correctly. i.e. at most sensitive setting the wiper will come on after a swimming pool hits it, any other setting and the wiper will not move. Before new windscreen was fitted no function issues.

I will speak to the fitting company tomorrow, in the meantime what is the possible fix?
Take it out and reseal/connect the senor wires?

Make sure they replaced the gel pad surrounding the rain sensor in the new windscreen. I've heard of some windscreen places just replacing the windscreen and using the gel pad from the old windscreen which doesn't work properly.

    as above.
They are chances the lot of them. Time and again the same problem. New gel pad needed.
Should be accessible by just unclipping the interior mirror or surrounds.
