    Hi

I have about 2 feet of hardwood window board that I need to sand, prime and paint.
I already have MDF primer and want to avoid buying another primer for such a small job. Would MDF primer do the job here?
I'd be putting a couple of coats of white satin on afterwards.

    Thanks

It's will prime the hardwood no problem.
However it will Not stop ant Tanning stains that may come through or any Knots stain.
Some hardwood are more prone to Tanning (Teak) than other types like Oak.
