    That was a enjoyable 8 episode run but I don't see it being renewed for a second season.

    I agree, the fact that there were not more episodes ordered would substantiate that.

    So this was cancelled... I thought as spin-offs go it was good little self-contained story but surely Howard is a future Blacklister just to wrap it up? I finished this and Blacklist kind of in parallel recently and expected Tom's phone call to be tied in here

    Well Tom is back on the Blacklist as you could see in the Blacklist season finale.

    I also hope that there is at least some closure that will be shown in the Blacklist.
