Hey guys.. just looking for a bit of help I have my heart set on getting an ibiza fr as my next car but there is none coming up for sale and im growing impatient so my next choice was either a 08 leon or 08 jetta so my question is if you had only them two as a choice of transport which would you pick and why? Im aware they have a rep for having a bad engine so im hoping their might be some good points to factor in.. thanks in advance

The Jetta and Leon won't be anywhere near as fun.
What's the budget? Even an Ibiza sport rider 1.9 would give you the 100bhp engine and you could remap it. They're cheap as chips in the U.K. and come with decent kit.

Im not really worried about the fun tbh just something that has decent power an that wont break my heart.. im to fussy with cars thats why I picked the jetta and leon my budget would be between €5000 and €5500 depending on the sterling rate that day.. it did cross my mind to go down that road but it would put my budget up to import one.. this would be my last 08 to buy before I move well up in the years aswell

The decent power jettas and Leon's are 2.0 as opposed to 1.9
