Logged in today - God almighty what a disaster. The former website was a model of clarity but this must have been designed by Stevie Wonder on drugs.
Its all over the place - you will struggle to find the various options. 'If it ain't broke' etc..........

Getting website design right is always a bit of a lottery.

And now for the weather, clear spells and cloudy patches, generally mild with a few patches of ground frost in exposed areas.

    Stop playing Lotto, sorted.

Don't do Lotto, but looked at website.

    Seems fine to me.

Many people just don't like change no matter what the benefits are.

Logged in there out of curiosity. Only real issue is the same ridiculously oversized template that more and more websites are using to cater for people using them on smartphones and tablets

Some of us have proper high-resolution screens and actual keyboards/mice too! I have a phone and a tablet in the room here but rarely use them for web browsing as you can't beat a proper laptop IMO.

I don't know about the old site but the new one is responsive, which means it responds to the device you are using and presents content based on device.

Agreed. This new website lets me log in without a password, no longer displays a virtual lotto ticket and the graphics are fuzzy. It looks like the whole thing has been 'dumbed down' . They have forgotten that online confidence is paramount - I'm quitting anyway.

i was just about to post something like this.. the new lotto website design is TERRIBLE.. revolting, badly laid out, HUGE text... do they think i'm blind?!!

And this bullsh1t about not letting me paste in my password is fukcing insanely annoying.. I use a password manager, my password is long and complicated.. now i have to type it in manually every time i want to transfer money.

very annoyed. probably stop playing now.. never fecking win anyway....... balls.

I know lotto is pretty much gambling but at the rate things are going, that website is virtually turning into an Online Casino.

Online All Cash scratchcards etc isn't a pretty sight to see.

I just clicked into the 'Gaeilge' site for the craic. Bit of a joke really - 90% of the page is still in English and there's a glaring spelling/grammar mistake in the small amount of Irish that is there.

In general it you're going to do such a poor job, I think it's better not to do it at all. And if they are forced to provide an Irish site by regulation then they should have their knuckles rapped for this effort.

That is the point. The original site was actually very good and you could have confidence in it. I don't see where you can print your ticket and it seems to steer you to the lotto draw with giant graphics intended no doubt for smartphones. And to think somebody actually designed this .

Yep a complete pile of scutter.

Why did think it needed to be updated. If it a'int broke don't fix it.

The old one was fine you could chose specific dates you wanted to check and you didn't have to go through 4 or 5 different pages to find the type of draw you wanted to check

I was hoping for some Flann O'Brien scenario where the lottery tickets were 10% cheaper on the 'Gaeilge' site. Or the jackpots bigger.

Where is the facility to key in the numbers I have on old Lotto tickets to check whether I won? Has that been removed?
