Do any of ye know somewhere that sells model airplanes that can be customised with a specific registration? I'm hoping to get a model of the plane a pilot flew for their first commercial flight...

I think there's a place on the Isle of Man that does customised aircraft models, I'll see if I can find any further details if it's if any use to you.

Thanks for the tips. What I have in mind is just a small desktop/shelf model of a speedbird A320 with a specific reg. I've thought of buying a model and going over the reg myself but I'm not the neatest painter!!

I don't have the details, there are a number of people in (I believe) the Phillipines, they will carve pretty much any aircraft, as long as you can either provide some drawings, or plans, or it's a common aircraft. A very good friend of mine had the model in this pic done for me, I owned it for a couple of years when I was working on my Multi/Night/IR ratings, so when he got it, to say I was blown out of the water would be putting it mildly. I do know they advertise in a number of places, including some of the pilot magazines and web sites,



A specific A320 in a mainline airline colour scheme should not be a problem to them.
