    Hi all,
I figured I'd ask here as all other queries on this topic are several years old. Son is applying for Law in University of Manchester - currently doing L.Cert and will qualify for grant here (applying for Law here but points required, desired modules & work experience opportunities plus wanting to study outside of Ireland make it second choice). Since the changes to VEC grants and SUSI a few years ago I'm not sure if he can get grant to study in UK. Also does anyone know what cost of living (not fees or rent) is like in Manchester? What is the story with their household taxes and all that stuff for students? Any info at this stage would be appreciated.... thanks in advance!
