Mechanic recommendation in Dublin

Looking for a mechanic recommendation in the Dublin 8/12 area to look at a 02 Micra with intermittent starting issues.Bearing in mind that this car ain't worth a lot and the issue is very intermittent and as of now showing no faults.Basically starts and runs fine for days and then refuses to fire.Leaving it for a day or two and come back to it and starts again no problem.
Had local(to me )mechanic look at it and he said bring it back whenever it fails to start, which it did not do for the 2 weeks I had it down here.No point in throwing parts/money at a car of this age without a definite problem.Back to Dublin and bingo, fails to start next day.
Anyways anyone any help.Pm or on thread if you wish.
    Thanks.

Sounds like starter motor to me (mind you, i'm no mechanic but i had the same symptoms on a car and it was definitely the starter motor), to make sure, you need someone to tap on it using a somewhat heavy object while you turn the ignition on, if it starts, then it is definitely the starter motor.

You could probably source a refurb for not too much money.

I wouldn't have a mechanic recommendation in the area though.
