What a race A Hare Breath ran at Aintree about a month ago, travelling brilliantly and nearly picking up a grade three handicap hurdle race. Switched over to fences tomorrow, if it runs anywhere near to that form it is a worth favourite tomorrow. Would have liked a bigger price, but considering this is a small field, I will have a small bet on at 3/1 in the first at Bangor.

The greatwood at cheltenham you mean francie?

Anyway i hope sumkindofking can win the last at cheltenham as he has been super impressive in his bumper and now novice hurdling. Small bet at 7/2 and it looks a decent race.

Tricky race but ive gone against you francie with STARCHITECT who also makes his chase debut. Pipe has a very good strike rate with chasers at the track (4-9 last 5 years) and i see Scudamore travels down to ride him before heading off to Cheltenham which could be significant. He's also the only c&d winner in the field albeit from a couple of years ago.
    BOL regardless

Horse in last at bangor should win the bumper, he was 2nd in his p2p splitting two henderson winners Clamintakinforgan and Lough Des Spirit.

That's a nice little novice chase at Bangor, the front 6 in the betting are all decent animals with some sort of potential. A watching race for me. Also looking forward to the novice chase and novice hurdle at Cheltenham.

8:05 - Gordon Elliot has been weaving straw into gold for the last few weeks, so not at all surprised to see his pick lashed in to early in the betting. Considering this one's flat form and the price, this is just not for me. Bottleofsmoke next in the betting looked an absolute road to nowhere, but the run last time out suggests that it may just be starting to get competitive off its mark. That race was a little weaker than today's, so I am going to pass on it as well. Really think the winner comes from outside of those top two horses in the betting. Asian Wing an old favourite of mine last won off the same rating it goes at today (59), but isn't getting any younger. That leaves me with Our Rachael, a horse I must be slightly mad to consider backing considering it's 0/16 over both NH/flat. I feel like there's just enough in terms of previous bits and pieces of form with an improving profile to just edge this one for me. Small bet at 11/2.

Gonna fire a few pennies at Solar Heat in that.

    :pac:

Talk about a Christmas miracle? Horse almost pulled up at the first fence, jumped awfully and was given the longest path around the course, was looking a likely second at the run-in before the first place horse made a mistake opening the door for my pick.

Not Gavin Sheehans finest hour, how could any horse win at that gallop over that trip.

How good is Adrian Heskin riding at the moment? Thought he gave Singlefarmpayment an absolute peach of a ride there. Getting "sacked" by that fool O'Connell is the best thing that could have happened to him.

Lovely ride, let the rest cut their throats and let his horse warm to the task and pick them off. I wouldn't know Adrian too well but came across a gent any time i spoke with him and anyone i speak with can't speak highly enough of him so glad he's doing well.

Some of these jockeys at Cheltenham have fairly got the horn and can't wait to go too quick.

Anyone got any thoughts for the cross country? Impossible to see an Irish horse not winning it.

I'm after timing here boys but it was an in running bet, Desert cry at bangor there was travelling a dream about 3 out and was still 16/1 so i had to have a nibble. Just want to know if they can use the palpable error excuse for in running prices?

Saw that on in play on 365. they had the wrong horse 1/5. Desert Cry was still 11/10 upsides at the last as well. They'll pay out I'd imagine.

Yeah that's who i had it with. They've settled it as a winner at the price anyway :)

A little bit late here, but could not help having a very small bet on The Doorman at 33/1 in the 2:50 at Doncaster. Irish form looks handy enough and this race looks weak enough, only a small bet because if this horse was primed to win, it wouldn't be this price.

    Mystery Gal 33-1 9.05

Ran a decent last over this c&d last time out, 6th 3 lengths off winner, that was a month ago. It hasn't run since and hopefully has improved.
It kept on well from rear last time out, on bottom weight here

    1pts ew 33-1

Why why why is that jockey on tetraites
3 races in a row that jockey has rushed that horse up out wide round the bend into the straight. Put a proper jockey on and he wins on the bridle, do trainers not want to win.

Well done man. What made you pick it? I looked and saw nothing in the form.

Been tracking it in the summer NH so no staying worries, 3rd last week so no problem with the surface. Worried about the jockey but expected the place more than win Francie. Lucky as f*cky I'd say.
