Communal Dish issue

Hi all. Really hoping somebody could help me here.

I signed up to Sky for a year on normal Sky+HD in an apartment block. They *had* a Unitron SCR box downstairs, one single cable coming into apartment, and that goes into a Johansson 3-way Smart Splitter (model 4603). Figuring I was only watching the free stuff I let my Sky sub run out and got a VU+duo2 (without any of the bold messing) just to get the freeview sat stuff with the ability to record.

I set this up on the OpenVIX platform and got the tuners working via SCR with:
    - Tuner A: Unicable EN50494 1382Mhz
    - Tuner B: Unicable EN50494 1484Mhz
I did this because in the Sky box it was in SCR mode using Channels 11 and 14 which I googled to find ran off those freqs.

Now. Sky Q upgrade must have happened in communal area and the SCR unit downstairs has been replaced with a Unitron dSCR.
    Here's a picture.
    Everything stopped working.
After LOTS of playing around and googling the new frequencies I managed to get the following to half/not really work:
    - Tuner A: JESS EN50607 1380Mhz
    - Tuner B: JESS EN 50607 1480Mhz
However Tuner A is only picking up 2 channels (Channel 4 HD and 4Seven) and Tuner B is picking up some random Eir Sports HD 2. Manually scanning/Sat Finder yeilds nothing apart from these. It seems to be locked on these.

Am I going about this completely wrong? I've spent days at this and am at my wits end between reading splitter manuals and checking forums for frequencies. It seems very little is covered on communal dishes and how they are split. I've played around with a few combinations of the frequencies listed on the new dSCR box but none of the combos seem to be working.

Should be worth noting that when I plug in the old Sky box I can view Sky News no problem, and in the settings menu I've verified it's still in SCR mode using channels 11 and 14. But obviously this is the only free channel I can get on that box and nothing is working on my freesat box until I get the config correct.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried putting the LNB into simple configuration mode and setting it to 28.2 Astra.
I would first just try get 1 LNB working before you try to get the configuration to work for both.

I'm not in an apartment block so I have no better advise than the obvious but good luck.

Assuming the switch supports legacy models, then the old Sky+HD should be functioning OK across all channels. Suggests the switch is configured very differently from before.

Unitron and Johansson are linked, so perhaps try Unicable/JESS; Unicable Matrix; Johansson in your Vu+ tuner settings.

Failing that, go back to Sky box and try each of the channels in turn on trial and error basis.

Otherwise, best chance is to contact whoever installed the unit or Unitron directly.

This is so annoyingly specialised and probably nobody will ever have this problem again but just in case someone does and google sends them this way.... here's how I got it working.
    - Tuner A: Unicable EN50494 Channel 1 1210Mhz
    - Tuner B: Unicable EN50494 Channel 2 1420Mhz
    Working configuration.

Fair play, Zyox! Perseverance paid off in the end!

The info could come in handy for others in the future, as these distribution systems seem to be getting more popular.
