    Anyone knows if the VW Golf Mk 7 is fitted with an immobiliser? Question on insurance renewal form regarding security etc. etc. Thanks.

    Did you check the manual? I would assume if you have a remote fob then yet it has one.

    Every new car originally sold in the EU since 1994 had a factory immobilizer fitted.
