Best place to Buy?

Running low on Whey & Casein at the moment and I'm wondering where people buy theirs?

Debating online vs shop and I'm wondering if these online deals from the likes of myprotein are good quality products or just good value?

Also been reading about poor or over sweetened flavours. I'll read the shakes flavours thread for more feedback on that aspect of it.

    Personal experiences would be appreciated

Good value is different from good price.

I think papu, formerly of this parish, had a spreadsheet done for the cost per gram of protein and MyProtein and BulkPowders came out at the top of the pile.

Personally, I find both to be good from value point of view and I find the taste of the vanilla nice. Bit everyone had a different palate so that's a subjective thing.

Whey and casein are fairly straightforward. Buy a small pack or get a sample of one of the online companies and see what you think. Take it from there.

Is that just based on what is written on the label or whats in the product itself?

The fact that myprotein says nutritional info can vary 15% with certain flavouring makes me wonder

Depends what it takes to make the flavouring, I guess. But you could say that about a lot of brands - how valid is the labelling.

I remember seeing something linked on reddit once upon a time whereby the protein content of a variety of different brands was tested and MyProtein came out well.

I used to use ON whey amd I don't think it was any better than MP or BP.

They need to add more of certain, especially natural flavour to get the desired effect.
They'll give the nutritional data for flavoured options too.
If you want the absolute highest protein content then get unflavoured. But honestly its not significant.

I need to order some protein soon. Been through the mill, flavour wise. I find most taste rank due to the sweeteners and flavourings. Chocolate cookie flavour from bulk powders was easy to drink though so I think I'll stick to that, price was competitive too
