    I am looking for recommendations of a hotel, preferably no more than 2 hrs from Dublin, with good value suites for a weekend away. Or even in Dublin itself!

    Any suggestions?

    :D

    Curious if there are any recommendations myself
    and as Esel said, what did you do in the end last year and how did you get on?

    Mount Wosley in Carlow have some suites. I'd recommend the O suite over the other two.

    Castle Oaks have comfortable suites at good prices - not hugely luxurious or anything, but comfortable and clean;
