I hear ya rubberlegs. Food is my one big indulgence. I love it. I love trying new things, sharing food with people, chatting over a meal etc. So I feel really let down when I don't enjoy my food.

Well the only one of these that happened was the egg on toast.
Then I had a salad sandwich from supervalu because we were late leaving somewhere and couldn't wait to get home.

Yep, Young's battered Cod, chipper and a fresh Cod Fillet if it's a
real fillet. The real fillet has to be bone free for the price you pay and served with spuds, peas and sauce. or with chips. Bake in the oven. Or lightly fried on the pan.

Have eaten so much over the past couple of days. Everything from Eggs Benedict to pancakes, rabbit to duck, crème brulee to pavlova. Snack and party food thrown in for good measure.
Coffees, wines and spirits galore.

Sitting now with a nice glass of Cabernet Merlot and eyeing up another piece of birthday cake.

I'm not usually one for singing but, as this bottle of wine is growing ever more less full, then anything is getting less unlikely.

Peckish for the goodies sitting invitingly in tubs in the press and fridge.....but it involves getting up...
