Gammon ateaks are something i disliked as a kid, probably due to how they were cooked or served. As a adult i love them and appreciate them.

Lovely with pineapple rings :). You can use the juice off the tinned pineapple to make a sauce too.

I had a burger in a bun and salad and made potato salad with baby potatoes. Glass of red wine.

Never got them as a kid. 😀 But once i discovered them as a broke student circa 1991 they helped me survive. Ive gone retro with them this week. 😆

Golden wonder smokey bacon crisps for a snack. Late dinner for me tonight.

Bought some various pieces of chicken in the Chicken Inn in the English Market in Cork today.

Just oven cooked some fillet pieces on skewers which were covered in a spicy sauce, oh me oh my!

All agreed that we wouldn't question the price if 3 were served to us with a small bit of salad as a starter in any restaurant.

    They were 60 cents each.

Having an ice cold can of Bulmers now and trying to stop convincing myself it makes economic sense to throw some more skewers in as the oven is already hot.

I actually thought you were having potato waffles. Remember eating them with lashings of real butter and salt in my teens. Ah yes, so healthy. Well, not much has changed :pac:

Have a really bad migraine for two days now. Got a chinese last night- chicken curry, fried rice and chips. Today I had a ham and cheese
    sandwich on brown bread.

I love potato waffle sambos. With melted cheese and onions. Ultimate carb fix.

Effort made with dinner this evening. Baby potatoes tossed in garlic herb butter. A salad of mixed leaves with semi sundried tomatoes, peppers, olives and a vinegar dressing. With that my husband had a sirloin and I had grilled halloumi on a bun with hummus.

Drinks; himself some cheap Czech lager while I have some London iced tea (currently in Aldi, 4 bottles 5.99 and very highly recommended!)

Satay chicken on sticks, Malaysian style and chips, just delivered.:D Only really decent dish from my local. Long day at the home desk along with cooking earlier for the fussy girls. Little G tried my steak last night and fancied some tonight. She got some with creamy mash while Mrs G had pasta.

    You look after yourself S.
