    Hi

I have a volters 16E gas boiler. Over the last few days been having issues as it wont ignite. I had some dude come and have a look. He bled the rads. His of the impression that the issue is when i put upstairs on first the pressure drops..when i put downstairs on first, wait for spark and then put on upstairs it works fine and pressure is over 1. If i put upstairs on first the pressure is 0.2 and nowt happens.

He thinks it could be the cold weather and simething about upstairs needing more water/🤒Pressure ..i think

What you think lads..im lost as to what it is..

When both zones are open/calling for heat what is the system pressure?

When both zones are on its a good solid 1 if not big higher..upstairs on its own 0.2 and red light comes on and doesnt ignite

Is that a one when the boiler is running and hot or is that when both zones are open but boiler off ,

It should be the same pressure regardless of what zones are open to be honest and that pressure should be about 1 to 1.5 when cold, not quite sure why you are getting different pressures as the whole system should be as one,

You really need an RGI plumber to check it out properly.
