It’s that time of year, folks.

It’s always good seeing what other Boardsies are listening to and are rating highly so go ahead and nominate your favourite releases of 2016.

At the appropriate time I'll start a poll thread of the most nominated albums for everybody to vote for the overall winner.

*Try to keep your nominations to in or around 5 releases for the interest of quality.

And last years Rock/Metal Album of the Year 2015 was...

Steven Wilson - Hand. Cannot. Erase. with Runner Up Slayer - Repentless

Here's a suggestion: rather than have people just list albums, they should also include some sort of insight as to why they chose them. This will make the thread more interesting.

Yiz can if you want but it's gonna be a pain in the hole to sift through text when I'm collating the nominations. Just keep it clean and simple imho. ;)
