boiler while no water coming in?

    Is it ok to turn on boiler when no water coming into house due to burst pipe? There is water is the tank upstairs if that matters.If the bath is used and uses the water up stairs does it make difference? It is a Baxi boiler

    So long as you have 1 bar on the pressure gauge you shouldn't have a problem

    That filler comes from the rising main so there's no water because of the burst pipe you mentioned.
    By the way do you have to top up the system often because if you do there must be a leak somewhere in the system which would lead to its own problems down the line.
