Missing Airbag light on dashboard?

    Hi All,

    I've just returned from the NCT centre with a recent UK import 2009 1.8 tdci Ford Mondeo Ghia and it failed on having no airbag light visible when you turn on ignition.

    I'm puzzled by this as the car has had a diagnostic scan and there was no airbag issue. Also I'm not sure where the airbag light is meant to be either.

    Can anyone please help with a resolution.

    I have attached a picture of the dashboard with ignition on but engine off. The second far left light on dashboard is to warn that temperature is below 4oc.

    It should be located just above that temperature symbol when you switch on it should come on and off.

    Above the Frost light there is an outline for a light if you have no seat belt on while driving. I cant find an outline for the airbag light?

    Any idea as to why it isnt turning on? Could a fuse be blown?

    Not youe exact model i know but on a minute in that video you see where the airbag light is roughly located
    Should be just above that one that one for car seat belt see in the picture you posted,have you the owners manual im sure it would show you in that.

    No idea could be anything to be honest i would be no expert id start with checking fuses that might have been removed perhaps to hide a fault in the uk.

    There is a fella on here martin5232 thats very good on fords im sure if he sees this he can help you better than i can:)
