    Hi TPWorks,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

We would advise that you contact your Local Authority regarding this matter as it would not be under the remit of Irish Water.

    Kind regards,
    Allanah

Thanks Allanah, i will contact my Local Authority which is Dublin City Council. I thought that Irish Water would have been the "relevant water services authority" to seek consent from under section 104 of Water Services Act 2007. Is it that the local authority (DCC in this case) do it on behalf of Irish Water?

    Hi TPWorks,

    Apologies for the delay.

The Water Department in Dublin City Council work on behalf of Irish Water and would be able to assist you on this matter.

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards,
    Allanah
