yard light and cctv

    hi all just wondering is it possible to kill power going to lights and car lift etc etc inside my garage but still have power going to a outside yard light and cctv...im not sparky expert hence the question.....plus any tips on good motion floodlights..energy saving types

    Yeah that should be easy enough for a sparks to sort out, assuming the garage has its own fuse board.
    plenty of LED floodlights available, someone might tell you a good make on here but your sparks should be able to recommend one. If you are getting new wiring maybe consider getting separate lights and sensors that way the sensors can turn on multiple lights at once which might help your cctv pick up a bit more.

    the sensors can be mounted around the yard or at entrances etc and wired to switch all the lights on. Any electrician would do it easily, it can be done so that lights will light before someone even gets into the yard which means seeing all their movements on cctv.
