Last night I got an open tamper on the back door zone.

Removed the tamper and linked out the panel and the fault went away.

Today the fault has come back and also the kitchen window is now showing up as tamper.

Any ideas of what this could be?

Are those zones on the same cable by any chance.?
Do you have a multimeter to check both those tamper loops?

On different zones and I checked continuity across both and they are ok when I close the tamper.

I have linked out the back door tamper in the panel and the fault is still showing up.

Is it shorted out properly and are they the correct terminals?

Did you remove the existing cables from the Tamper terminals ?

Are the zones by any chance dual end of line?
