Trying to find a light weight laptop for my ma who "doesn't do technology". It will basically used to watch Netflix/movies, use Viber, Gmail, Skype...basic browsing. Something that can be brought travelling and won't weigh a tonne.

So light, fast and easy to use. Price cap 600 yoyos

    Any recommendations?

I wonder would a tablet be a better option.

I had considered that, but she's not mad on touchscreen. So, if she did need to write something I'd need to find keyboard attachment and so on. I'm hoping if I just get the full laptop now it'll be a slippery slope away from the ancient PC she has now.

Ah well if she's used to a pc she should have not much bother adapting to a laptop. Screen size might be an issue depending on eyesight. 15.6" would be standard but less portable than a 13"

I'm thinking of a HP Stream 14-ax000na, but can't seem to get any reviews on it
