How much would be a fair price for a front seat from an old Merc S class, Lexus LS, or similar luxury vehicle?

Totally depends on condition, demand and availability. I've previously gotten a front seat for an oul Clio for €30, but form an S class, I'd expect to pay a lot more

Depends in leather, heated, cooled, electric etc
Can also depend on colour and condition.

That's exactly the plan. Bit of a DIY project in the offing.

I've been looking at them on Ebay, but the shipping costs from the UK would cripple me. The best option would be a breakers here; hoping to get an idea of prices.

I think if you could make it clear to the breakers that you don't need the specific seat for another car they might flog it to you cheaper. I'd say you could also widen your search and take seats from the flagship models of Jag, BMW and Audi. It would be the business if it was possible to connect a power source to them and keep the heated seats and electrical adjustment.

I think around €100 would be a fair price, a breaker might think otherwise.

I got a full seat of rear leather Alfa Gt seats sent over from the UK before. Got it sent to Parcel Motel. Cost me €27 in postage with them, which wasn't bad.

    The seats cost me €95

I'd look at seats from a 406 or 407 coupe. Likely cheaper than a premium marque and unbelievably comfortable

No need to go to UK.

Searches Irish breakers and some of the yards do regular delivery runs. The mullingar breaker is good. Worth checking. Just had a look and there's a good few 2000 - 2004 s class for breaking around the country.

If you're on Facebook you could ask on the "Irish Drifting Community" some lad is bound to have leather seats from an e46 or is200 or something they've stripped to use as a shlaab car 😉👍

Pictures are a must when you get them. Man cave inspection is mandatory now that you asked for assistance. :)
