Green sediment in boiler hot water loop

I have recently started my gas boiler for the winter and found that the boiler is throttling back on its output because the return flow from the underfloor heating is not coming in fast enough. I have a particle filter on the boiler return and it was filled up with a dark sediment that turned a copper green as it dried.

I have now cleaned this filter once per day and each time it is clogged with a few tablespoons of this sediment. What is the cause? I seen mention in this forum of iron oxide sediment but I have one of those magnetic 'filters' on the line and it is not picking up this.

    Any ideas welcome
    Mike
