How does somebody go about appealing a decision to refuse an application to a local authority to be included on the housing list based on failure to satisfy the means test? The claimant in question is a single person in receipt of Disability Allowance who has inherited a share of the proceeds of the sale of a property. The value of this bequest is slightly in excess of the 30,000 euro income threshold which is applied by the authority in question.

Their local authority is all they can appeal to ,

And would you think there are legitimate grounds for appeal in an instance like this?

It's hard to say local authorities seems to be sticking to the book lately when it comes to the housing lists,
Id would re submit everything they ask for and see what they say
