Condensation on attic door

    Hi
We have a new build with A2 energy rating, so quite well insulated. With heat turned on and cold weather we now see drops of water on the bottom of attic door, which I assume is condensation.
The builder said it is an insulated attic door, but I am sceptical it's only about 3 cm thick.
Could this condensation be a result of a non insulated attic door?

Put more insulation on the back of it and see if the condensation stops.

If it does you have your culprit.

If I was a betting man I'd say the extra insulation above the door will stop the condensation.

Get back onto the foreman / builder & let him sort it out. This is not your problem. You have bought a brand new house. Things like this should not be happening. Keep a record of everything both verbal & written. Try to get everything in writing
