    I saw that...

It was one of the first places I checked

    I guess you owe me 10 % 😠:D

So it is...wasn't as obvious on the mobile site. If you give them a ring they'd probably know the craic with it. Afaik, they're the only commercial entity in Ireland that buys and sells rare whiskies.

Any reason it has to be 2003?

My collection runs from 2004 to 2016., I'm looking to extend it.

You might get it at one of the online auctions, like whiskyauctioneer.com, or just-whisky.co.uk, or scotchwhiskyauctions.com. There are many more too.

I have a bottle of it but don't know what it's worth or if I want to sell it.

Do you think it might be worth a few pound in let's say 20 years ? I really don't have to sell it but I've no interest in keeping it and have less in drinking it.

You might get €1k for an 1985 bottle these days but a 2003 very rare isn't that rare. Give it to me, I've lots of interest in drinking it.

    I bet you have :)

I see that you can buy the 85 on Celtic whiskey for 1100, but you can't buy the 2003 anywhere !

As every year passes, more and more of the bottles get shoved away with the idea they might be worth a bit. Result is that they don't increase in value to anywhere near the extent the bottles that weren't hoarded do.

Same as with collectable toys etc - by the time you realise there might be a few quid in it, you've missed the boat!
