Asbestos Roof

    Hi All,

    Any idea of the rough cost to have a corrugated asbestos roof removed from a shed please? Approx area is 500 square feet and it's a single storey lean-to type shed.

    In Galway area.

    I haven't got any yet. To be honest, I don't even know what type of company to approach. Would it be a general roofer or would a specialist do this?

    Specialist Asbestos Contractor.

    Removal done in accordance with Health & Safety Legislation and the disposal and transport carried out by a licenced contractor registered with the Local Authority.

    I got two prices in for this last week as part of a large re roofing project 900m2 approx and the unit prices were 20 & 25 euro/m2 (prelim cost would need to be added also).

    For a 47m2 job I would expect around €75-100m2 to strip the roof re-felt and install single skin cladding
