    Have an old merc with glow plugs locked solid in situ. Anyone u can recommend ? Dublin area...

    Have you tried spraying with penetrating fluid and allowing to sit overnight?

    Try leaving some Coca Cola sitting in the pocket overnight, whatever is in that stuff is very good at shifting seized spark plugs in Ford heads Extra-Long threads.
    Try it one more time you haven't much to lose.

    Thanks CJ but I was out for a few bedwetters with a pal this eve and he swears by a merc mechanic on the Richmond road Dub. Cant go through any more hassle as I need this elder merc to start especially in this weather
