Someone recommended tunnel bear to me. Its about fifty dollars a year. Is it worth paying that for a secure vpn or are there cheaper packages?

If you use a VPN and you dont pay, your data is the product.

I've used about five or six VPN services over the past few years and I reckon tunnelbear is probably the best of the lot that I've tried. It's not expensive considering the list of locations, speed etc. The chrome plugin is also quite handy and the mobile app is decent.
