HI folks - Looking to get my folks a trip to Wales to do some walking. Ideally I'd like to get them a trip close to Holyhead and one where they dont require a car for the couple of days.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Cheers

There's one very obvious one very close to Holyhead, the Anglesey Coastal Path. You don't have to do it all, just one or two sections, getting bus or taxi to the start/finish of each section.

For those who have only experienced Holyhead, the rest of Anglesey is actually quite nice :D

Alternatively if they want to go into Wales proper and into the mountains, get a sail rail ticket to Betws-y-Coed and use that as a centre. There are some lowish level walks from Betws-y-Coed itself, but there's also a shuttle bus, the Snowdon Sherpa, that goes from there to the major starting points for Snowdon etc. Plenty of B&B accommodation and pubs, eateries available there too.
