Hi all, Does anyone know of any seal colonies around Maree, Tawin, Kinvara etc? Or even down as far as Clare. Are these places fairly accessible? Cheers, tomás

Don't know about Galway but there are loads hauled up on sandbanks in Ballisodare Bay, near Strandhill. You can walk up quite close when the tide is out.

yes Goorammen in Kinvara bay is a seal colony, opposite Crushua harbour, very accessible
