Looking for a childminder to looking after our b/g almost 5 year old twins after school in our own home. We need someone with experience with kids who can take initiative and has a fun caring attitude! We live 2km from their school in Kilcloon. Most days I can pick them up (I work from home) so really you are going through homework, changing uniform, creating fun activities for them to do, prepare snacks, help with dinner, tidy around etc. Hours 2.30-5.30pm term time, longer hours during school break. We´ve had au pairs for the last 3 years but now looking for someone more long term! We live in the countryside 3km from Maynooth town.

It is more a nanny that you are looking for then a childminder.
Local colleges might have students interested that are studying ECCE courses.
childminding.ie are a great resource too.
