I'm thinking of purchasing a TV. It works out over 100 euro cheaper if I buy it in Argos in Derry than Argos in Donegal. My question is will it pick up Rte channels as I wasn't planning on connecting it to my sky dish. Thanks

Make sure it's free view HD, Saorview won't show on a freeview SD TV.

If it has the same model number ie 40z581 then yes both should support saoirvew. Worst case you lose the epg.
Could you post the module / manufacturer for 100% yes-no
