    Hello,

anybody would be able to suggest a replacement for standard heating control that is now broken.

New one should be programmable (7 days) and ideally I would like to be able to control it with an app.

There is only one zone to control.

    Any ideas are appreciated.

    thanks,

Have a look in the automation forum http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=1777

The netatmo for 99 quid is great if its just one zone. App or online to control, learning modes etc.

Thanks for your reply. Will it also work for the oil burner unit, not just gas? Is installation of it difficult?

It is essentially just a switch so can work with oil/gas/any circulating pump etc. If you look through the thread there are wiring diagrams and the people on the thread can explain. It just replaces a thermostat if you have one already (so put your timeclock on permanent and let the netatmo switch heating on and off). Depends on your setup

I suggest the Heatmiser Neo stat.
It is an electronic time clock which can be installed on its own.

If you add in a Neo Smart Hub then it connects to your Internet router / modem and allows you to control via your phone or tablet from anywhere.

    No additional monthly costs.
