    Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right place for this but here goes.

I want to change the region on my Netflix to American because it has more stuff available. I use my Iphone 5s to watch content. Can someone tell me how to do this? and if its possible to go back to UK/Ireland region if I do.

If it is risky then I don't think its worth it but if not then I would like to change.

    Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately you can't, not any more.

Netflix has cracked down on people using means to bypass the location settings. Previously I've been watching content on Netflix, turned on a VPN just to test it, and had whatever I was watching close because they detected the VPN.

If they catch you multiple times, you might have your account cancelled and would be unable to sign up again.

I use a service called <SNIP> and I can still watch US stuff.

Personally, I wouldnt pay for a service , just to have to find a way around the crap service they provide and have to pay more for a decent VPN. Crap quality vid for a very limited selection unless you want to pay more for decent vid quality vid but still a crap selection. I think its because RTE and Sky pay for foreign entertainment and buy the rights to show it within Ireland. This blocks the likes of Netflix and Amazon Prime from being able to stream it to Ireland. Probably not worth the hassle for them to geoblock only certain content for such a small market

    Correct me if Im wrong.

While they are not giving me the option to watch the few shows I like, I will use other ways to watch them while totally ignoring their so-called service.

Discussion about how to get around geo-restrictions is not allowed, sorry.
