How do people contribute to the state pension if they dont live in thé country and wish to do so. Is it the addition voluntary contribution ? How does it work ?

AVC's have nothing to do with the state pension...that refers to additional contributions to a private pension.

I dare say if you have a PPS number you can make the minimum contribution of €500 but how many years contributions do you have so far? You may not have to contribute anything and still qualify for a full pension.
