Hi all, I've had this problem for a while now, my 06 nissan almera 1.5 petrol is cutting out while idleing or when coming to a halt / changing from 3rd gear to 2nd, otherwise there are no power issues and it drives grand if warmed up properly but im working in the city lately which means traffic and the car keeps cutting…

Hi all,

I've had this problem for a while now, my 06 nissan almera 1.5 petrol is cutting out while idleing or when coming to a halt / changing from 3rd gear to 2nd, otherwise there are no power issues and it drives grand if warmed up properly but im working in the city lately which means traffic and the car keeps cutting out.

The car has been burning oil also and needs to be topped up every month or two. I have had it in with a few mechanics but they havn't been able to diagnose the problem and it seems like they couldn't be bothered working on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
