How much is normal for a 2 at your home club? In greystones we are normally talking around €7. I remember once getting a bumper of about €15.

Castleknock always seems to get a nice few quid..... but this is colossal!!!!!!

In a recent medal, only one guy had a '2' on our club. over €200...he still hasn't been found :D

Normal payout would be between €10 and €50

In a winter competition a few years back myself and my playing partner both got 2's and we got €55 each. Our other playing partner won the competition, and he got a €20 voucher. He wasn't too pleased :D

Most of ours pay the €2, so our pots are normally nice every weekend

Had a few Two's over the years in my previous club Grange Castle and the average payout was around €30. I actually picked one up again this year in an Open at Grange Castle and the payout was €34 which was a nice surprise.

In my present club Co Meath the payout is a bit lower as I have had a two on four separate occasions and the payout is lodged to your pro-shop account. The total for the 4 payouts is only €72 so far so a bit lower.

Blessington Lakes 2's club is 3 Europeans and if the pins are up the back the payouts can be really good. There has been a 55 and 72 euro's payout in recent weeks. I think categorizing the 2's is where we should be going as in reality its higher handicap players subsidizing the lower handicap players. Cat 3 could run for a few weeks with a nice roll over but then again if we brought it in would we still get the same number of Cat 1 players entering???? one to ponder. Hole in one gets the lot, 2 last year none this year.

Same here I think but you will have about 20-30 guys getting a two in each comp

Cat 1 and 2 pot is usually €6-€9
    Cat 3+ is usually €15-20

We have 5 par 3's so that thins out the pot.
Most I ever seen in low cat was about €70, most I ever got was €30.
Higher cat can be big when it rolls over, even one days roll over could leave the pot at €120+

    About €10 to €15

Have to admit I've given up paying into the twos.......now every time I play I throw €2 into a jar in the house and when I get a 2 I go out and spend whatever is in the jar on something golf related and frivolous!
