    Hi all,
I am booked in for PRK with Optilase in December and was saying to my friend the other day that I never even thought but I won't be able to wear makeup out over Christmas.. nbd! She said to me that I could get lash extensions, that she wore them for hers, I didn't think this would be allowed but I mailed Optilase out of curiosity just to see and she confirmed that they are fine to wear. I've never got them before, has anyone worn them for laser surgery?
Just take into account I had never thought of them and its not the end of the world not wearing makeup for a few weeks, given that this is such a big deal.. I'm just asking out of curiosity for people's experiences.. I'm thinking eye goop and lashes wouldn't be a good combo anyways!!

How long did they tell you to wait before wearing eye make-up?

They said to wait 2 weeks before wearing makeup, but I assume that means eye makeup and powders, and stuff that could cause particles, I assume lippie is okay haha :)

Honestly I wouldn't bother, you'll constantly be faffing around with drops for the first week or 2 and getting them all over the shop. I'd imagine having lash extensions only makes that worse! If you need an optilase referral just PM me.

I was thinking that myself, I know how gross it used to be when I fell asleep in my daily lenses, eyelashes glued together, not to mind wearing lenses for 5 days straight! A friend gave a referral already but it doesn't work my side cos of another discount I'm getting but thanks anyways :-)
