I put my DoneDeal advert up yesterday for my van and was hoping to get feedback on it.

    https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/ford-transit-connect-doe-6-17-full-serv-history/13868807

I've placed it in the cars section as most other connects seem to be there.

I've priced it up against similar connects and caddys also on DoneDeal and Carzone.

    Any feedback appreciated.

It looks good. Everything you need to know there in the photos. I hope you sell it quickly!

It should be in the commercials so anyone looking for a van will see it. Otherwise ad looks good.

229 Transit Connects in the commericals section.
54 Transit Connects in the cars section.

Also mention if you provide a VAT invoice, likely to be the 1st question from perspective buyers who I assume will be VAT registered trade people.

Also watch your pricing if you are using other adds to gauge your selling price, you will see other vans priced including VAT such as the one below. In the case of VAT registered buyers they can claim the VAT back so the real cost to them of buying that van is only €5,691 and not the €7k advertised. Therefore assuming you are not VAT registered and if you want to compete with the seller below you would need to sell yours at €5,691. One of the pitfalls of a non registered VAT person selling a van

I had the mileage listed but when it got transferred from the cars section to commercials it seems to have gone missing.

    Fixed now.

Thanks for that. Didn't realise that's where it should have been.

    Moved now.

I am VAT registered so I've updated the add. Thanks for that. An important point.

DoneDeal moved the connect to the general transit section rather than the transit connect section so I've now gotten that fixed also.

Is November a difficult month to sell commercial vehicles with paying tax bills a drain on available cash?

I'd say your biggest challenge is getting someone to consider a used van when leasing a brand new commercial is nearly as cheap when you spread the payments over a number of years. Try and be patient, it might just take a bit of time to sell it.
