I purchased a packet of batteries once, but they weren't included so I had to buy them again.

I bought a brand new car once but it didn't have that new car smell so I brought it back and bought a three year old car which funnily enough had the new car smell.

It's a crazy world we live in.

Wise words. Some of that cheap 'so-called' value-option loo paper is only good for one use. After that you might as well throw it away.

My loo roll doesn't smell of toothpaste.

    Should I bring it back?

This one time I got up and I went to the shop and I bought an orange and then when I got home I peeled the orange but there was no orange inside but there was a banana.

    Be careful of pineapples.

    I once bought something...

When I got home I found out that it was exactly what I bought.

As you can imagine I was very happy but I brought it back anyway and I swapped it for some dissapointment!

My cat's breath smells like cat food so that's ok, at least.

Did they charge you for the disappointment? If so, is it tax deductible?

Bought what I thought was a new mp3 player and it had a few songs on it from whoever owned it before me: Aqua - Barbie girls was one.

About ten years ago I bought some blank cd's in lidl (anyone else remember the days when lidl sold them?) anyways I got home and open them up. Inside were already burned cd's and writing over each cd insert.
Someone burned a bunch of songs to the cds. But of course since I bought them that means someone went to the trouble of bringing back burned cd's to get their mere 2 euro back or exchange for brand new cd's.

Maybe I should be posting this in the stingy thread? :pac:

Younger generation now probably doesn't even know what a cd is.
