I was thinking of getting the mother a Nespresso machine for Xmas. I was looking at the cheaper version that cost around €80/€90.

I saw LIDL will be doing a special on their own brand one for €50. Just wanted to check if anyone here bought one from LIDL or even ALDI before? Any good/issues?

Theres not too many details on it:
    TEXET® 1400W Capsule Coffee Maker
Compatible all nespresso size capsules LCD brewing buttons.
The manual control can be updated to energy saving function

the two lidl ones i've seen both were leaking from the water tank, emptying the tank in an hour or two, which is a fair amount of water. they were not the same as that pic though and i was only told they were lidl, so not sure now.

What do you mean the two you saw? Were they in someone elses house or ?

why is it important where i saw them? Neither were in other peoples houses. both were getting what i would call normal use for a household,2 to 3 cups a day. not sure how old they were, but saw the first one leaking, didn't ask the make, when i was told an identical model was leaking some time later i asked what make it was and was told lidl. i didn't question it any more than that. they did not look like that picture though
