    Engine size/fuel would be helpful.

It's possibly high mileage for a 3 year old car but not a concern overall I'd think if it's been properly maintained. Diesels are meant to be driven and I'd probably be more worried if it had very low miles myself.

My last A6 sold with 350,000km on it, is 11 years old, and still going strong.

I bought a 2001 Passat 2.0 diesel sport from the UK with 216,000 miles on it. Car has one owner from new and full service history from the same garage.
The car still runs as sweet as a nut. So a high mileage diesel (with full service history and well maintained) I would not have any issues with. As these are motorway miles and as you know, that means less wear and tear.

120k km is nearly 75k miles and a 2013 reg car is nearly 4 years old at this stage so in reality it is not very high mileage for a diesel car of that age. People see 6 digits on the odometer even in km and automatically see it as high. My own car is a 2014 reg with almost 90k km on the clock which would be average enough for the year.

Resale value is all relative, you can spend more money now on getting a lower mileage car and getting some of that money back in 2 or 3 years time or buy a cheaper higher mileage car now and get a lower resale value on it in 2 or 3 years time.

The car travelled exactly as much as you would - 30kkm/year...

    No, it is not.

As above, if the car is otherwise tidy and has a full service history I don't think it's a big deal. It's a sign that the car did plenty of motorway miles which is exactly what diesels are for. It'd likely give more trouble if it did all short city spins.

That said, price sounds strong. I picked up a 131 Audi A4 Avant with similar miles last week for not a whole lot more.

Traded in 05 Audi A4 with 305,000kms at the beginning of the year. Got a 2012 Skoda Superb with 150,000kms, now with 179,000kms, not one issue. Once the car is serviced regularly mileage should not be a problem.
