Well, unlike you, the link is working :D

You can ask them if people who can't copy&paste links need applying.

At least he didn't put in the usual guff about "passionate person required". If anything this sort of honest advert sorts out the ones who are prepared to sign up for it rather than those who aren't (I'd be in the latter).

I used to work with a guy who ended up moving to a role in Ryanair not too many degrees different from that role. He left after a couple of months.

Fantastic opportunity for the right person. Great exposure to high level corporate functions in a very fast-paced and margin-driven industry. If I was a qualified accountant, I'd be giving it some serious thought

Great opportunity for some young, recently qualified person.....

    ......wouldn't work for him in a fit......but that's a great ad :D

I know a former employee of Ryanair who was responsible for briefing Michael O'Leary on a fairly regular basis. O'Leary is utterly allergic to what he considers dithering. If someone offers you a sandwich, you don't for a moment hesitate to decide. If he asks you a question, you don't for a moment hesitate or reflect before answering.

I think his leadership style is counterproductive at some point. It garners publicity, but even talented, intelligent workers won't put up with that 'bolloxology' forever. Nobody wants to be 40 years of age and feeling like they're still trying to please the cool guy in the playground.

My friend left and got a better job paying better wages, and most people in Ryanair eventually grow up and do the same.

There's a hell of a difference between disliking dithering and refusing to allow someone to reflect for a moment before answering a question. The second suggests O'Leary prefers to speak before thinking. Which his media persona would support.

Well, it's a better written ad anyway.

A Man Utd fan I take issue with being lumped in with cyclists.

    Glazers Out!
